Summary

We’re excited to partner with Santander Universities to offer six scholarships worth £5,000 each to support our widening access and refugee/humanitarian protection status students during the 2025/26 academic year. These scholarships are designed to ease education-related costs, including tuition fees, course materials, accommodation, and career development opportunities.

Eligibility

Who Can Apply?

  • Current full-time undergraduate or postgraduate students enrolled in any year of study during the 2025/26 academic year.
  • Aged 18 or over, UK resident, and classified as a Home Fee Status student.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • they are in receipt of a SAAS Care Experienced Bursary, or;
  • they are in receipt of a SAAS Young Student Bursary in the final year of undergraduate study, or;
  • they are in receipt of SAAS funding as an Independent or Estranged student and receive a Student Bursary or enhanced Student Loan, or;
  • they are in receipt of funding from Student Finance England, Wales or Northern Ireland based on a household income of £34,999 or less, or;
  • they are in receipt of one or more means-tested benefits at the time of application, or;
  • they reside in a postcode which falls within the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation (SIMD) Quintile 1 (check Postcode Quintile), or;
  • they have been in receipt of EMA in the past three years, or;
  • they have been in receipt of free school meals in the past three years, or;
  • they have Refugee status, Humanitarian Protection status or similar, in the UK

No need to be a Santander customer.
