At Strathclyde we are keen to support our care-experienced students. 

Care-experienced refers to anyone who has been or is currently in care, such as in foster care, residential care, kinship care, or at home under a supervision order and includes adopted children who were previously in care. 

We are offering 5 Strath Cares Scholarships for new undergraduate care-experienced students starting at the University of Strathclyde in Academic Year 2026/27.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

  • be classed as Home/rUK for fee purposes
  • hold a firm offer for full-time undergraduate study at the University of Strathclyde for 2026/27 entry
  • be care-experienced and declared via UCAS or have been in touch with the Widening Access Team
