Summary

Strathclyde Business School is delighted to offer a number of £2,000 Deans Excellence scholarships to RUK students paying Rest of UK tuition fees.

The scholarships will be awarded on merit, rather than financial need, to candidates who demonstrate in their UCAS application, potential to succeed in their chosen programme. (This may include academic performance (current and/or previously gained) where grades may be available, or academic references where non-standard qualifications are being taken, responses to UCAS application form questions and any relevant extra-curricular personal development or experience).

All eligible RUK UCAS offer holders will automatically be considered for an award, following the 14 January 2026 UCAS deadline, therefore, no separate scholarship application is required.

Awards will be assessed on merit, rather than financial need, to candidates who demonstrate in their UCAS application, potential to succeed in their chosen programme.

Important things to note:

  • Strathclyde Business School scholarships are only open for self-funded, RUK fee-paying applicants enrolling on a full-time course. 
  • all RUK UCAS offer holders will be automatically considered for an award, following the 14 January 2026 UCAS deadline
  • to receive their scholarship, awardees must enrol in studies commencing in September 2026 and continue to meet all of the above eligibility criteria
  • scholarship recipients will be expected to engage with student ambassador activities during their course of study, such as supporting student recruitment activities and events
  • Strathclyde Business School’s decision on the awarding of scholarships is final
