Work with us Graduate Apprenticeships

A Graduate Apprenticeship is a fully-funded degree programme which enables new or existing employees to study up to degree level (Bachelors or Masters), while spending the majority of their time in the workplace.

Employers develop industry-ready graduates who really understand their business.

At Strathclyde, our industrial focus and external engagement provides an unparalleled foundation for apprenticeship degrees of the highest standard. This means we deliver carefully designed programmes that suit the needs of both the learner and the employer.

Employer engagement: 2019 potential graduate apprenticeships programmes

This event will discuss Civil Engineering (SCQF L10), Cyber Security (Masters) (SCQF L11) and Data Science (BSc (Hons)) (SCQF L10) graduate apprenticeship programmes. All programmes (if successful in the SDS bid process) will have an anticipated start date of September 2019.

    The forum will give you:

    • an overview of the graduate apprenticeship programme structure and framework, particularly how the University supports and works with our employer partners and the potential benefits to organisations of considering this career pathway to either develop existing employees and or providing an attraction recruitment strategy
    • an interactive workshop outlining the content of delivery, welcoming your ideas and suggestions to identify, and where possible incorporate, your requirements in delivering a graduate apprenticeship programme that not only meets the business capability requirements as well as maintaining the accredited degree standards the university is synonymous in delivering
    • networking opportunities with employer partners
