Strathclyde Executive Education & Development (SEED) is the Business School’s centre for executive learning, leadership development, and organisational growth. We design, develop, and deliver a wide portfolio of programmes – including our internationally recognised MBA, open enrolment programmes, bespoke leadership development solutions, coaching, consultancy, and organisational development.
SEED is also positioned to lead the University’s provision of continuing professional development (CPD), short courses, and micro-credentials in leadership, management, strategy, and other business-critical subjects. Serving as a central hub for applied, accessible learning, SEED supports personal and professional development while enabling sustainable organisational growth and wider societal impact.
Our programmes are grounded in rigorous academic research and shaped by the real-world challenges organisations face today. Course development is informed not only by competitor analysis but by a strong focus on identifying emerging and unmet needs across industry, the public sector, and the wider economy. This ensures our portfolio remains relevant, practical, and forward-facing.
At SEED, we believe executive education should be collaborative, practical, and transformative. We work in partnership with organisations to understand their specific goals and co-create programmes that deliver measurable impact. Through transparent collaboration, we provide learning experiences that enrich individuals, strengthen organisations, and contribute positively to the communities and societies they serve.
Our faculty are internationally recognised leaders in their fields, combining innovative academic insights with real-world expertise. Drawing on experience across multiple industries, they bring breadth and depth of knowledge to every programme, ensuring participants benefit from learning that is both intellectually rigorous and practically relevant.
SEED has extensive experience working with high-profile organisations across sectors. For example, we deliver the Senior Leaders MBA with Babcock International and the MBA in the Global Energy Industry with Iberdrola. These partnerships reflect our ability to design and deliver programmes that address complex challenges, create organisational value, and foster positive societal outcomes.
Our open programmes support professionals at every career stage with flexible, impactful learning opportunities.
