Ricardo Energy and Environment are one of the Department of Architecture’s industry partners. They have organised this event on behalf of Zero Waste Scotland, who have a programme of support for the Scottish construction sector and aim to create a society where resources are valued and nothing is wasted. Dr David Grierson, Deputy Head of the Department of Architecture, will give a keynote address at the launch.

Zero Waste Scotland developed the online guide on how to prevent material waste through design to be used in construction and refurbishment projects. The guide explains how circular economy design ideas can be applied throughout the design and construction phases of any project. This will be demonstrated and users will explain how successful it has been for their organisation.
