New Funding for Teachers of Mandarin
In an exciting start to 2022, Scotland's National Centre for Languages (SCILT) are offering a new round of funding to support teachers of Mandarin Chinese.
This financial support will enable more schools than ever before to broaden their learners' horizons, embed Mandarin Chinese within their own language offerings, and ultimately forge pathways to national qualifications.
Key Info.
- Open to all state schools in Scotland
- Funding of £23,000 per annum towards the salary of a GTCS registered teacher of Mandarin Chinese
- Available until school year 2025/26 (Jul 2026)
