Tour of Tianjin

This month we will be sharing some of the interesting places we’ve been to in Tianjin so far.

The Tianjin Eye

Tianjin Eye

This is the Tianjin Eye (basically the London eye of China) Built in 2007 on a bridge across the Haihe River (Known as the mother river of Tianjin). Standing 120 Meters tall, it takes roughly 30 mins to complete a rotation. From the top of the wheel you get a great view of the buildings surrounding the Haihe, I would recommend going at night so you can see everything brightly lit up.

This is the Ancient Culture Street. Qing dynasty style architecture. 687 meters long. Built along the side of the Haihe river. Opened in 1986. It features over 100 shops filled with traditional Chinese food and products, street performances.
