Fiza Mehraj is a passionate B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) student at the School of Legal Studies and Governance, Vidyashilp University, Bangalore, India. Fiza has interned with M/s Bandey Law Associates and Advocate Shruti Chaganti, gaining valuable experience in legal drafting, research, and courtroom observation. She has also worked with organizations such as InAmigos Foundation, Carpediem Company, and Paryatan Foundation, contributing to projects focused on social awareness, legal literacy, and community development. She has presented research papers at national and international seminars on topics such as colonialism and legal pluralism, women’s rights in online spaces, and the effects of climate change on biodiversity. She also participated in the XLI All India Moot Court Competition at Dr. Ambedkar Government Law College, Puducherry. Fiza draws her greatest inspiration from her father, and she aspires to use her legal education to advance justice, equality, and empowerment. With a deep passion for writing, advocacy, and social change, she continues to work toward building a fairer and more compassionate society.
