About this event
Join us for the launch of Law, Human Creativity, and Generative Artificial Intelligence, a groundbreaking exploration of creativity and copyright in the age of AI with Julija KalpokienÄ— chaired by Linus Hoffmann of Strathclyde Law School.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly being used to create texts, images, and musical compositions. This increase in the application of AI within the creative industries can obviously both enhance human performance and produce creative and commercial challenges for human authors. Against this background, the book considers how and why copyright may be insufficient to incentivise human creativity in the age of AI. Acknowledging the opportunities that AI presents, Dr KalpokienÄ— proposes novel regulatory mechanisms through which human creativity could be incentivised.
