One Ocean Hub, as part of a global coalition, wins UN Human Rights Prize
One Ocean Hub, which is based at the University of Strathclyde and has close links to Strathclyde Law School, has recently been recognised by the UN for its part in a global coalition.
The award for The Global Coalition of Civil Society, Indigenous Peoples, Social Movements, and Local Communities for the Universal Recognition of the Rights to a Clean, Healthy and Sustainable Environment reflects the Hub's role in advocating for the international recognition of the human right to a healthy environment by the UN General Assembly in July 2022.
Further information about this award can be found in a University of Strathclyde news story and in an update on One Ocean Hub's website.
