Professor Francesco Sindico co-edits new book
On Monday 10 June 2024 the Queen Mary University London (QMUL) Centre for Small States hosted the launch of the book “Research Handbook on Climate Change Litigation” published by Edward Elgar Publishing, co-edited by Prof Francesco Sindico.
He was joined by two of the other co-editors, Dr. Kate McKenzie and Gastón Medici-Colombo with unfortunately the final editor Lennart Wegener not being able to join. Two discussants, Agnes Rydberg and Norah Gallagher, were present to comment on the book’s content.
Two of the key features of the book were discussed at the book launch: 1) the thread throughout being the litigation journey from strategy to impact and 2) how such a journey can be traced not only in domestic climate litigation, but also within different international regimes.

The contributors include a vast range of researchers and practitioners from different world regions, including leading organisations like Greenpeace, Client Earth and the Climate Litigation Network actively involved in climate change litigation.
