PoliciesAcademic Career Development Framework & Chancellor's Fellow Review

Academic Career Development Framework

At Strathclyde we aim to support our early career Academics to become high-performing and successful Academic colleagues to allow them to establish a successful academic career. Our Academic Career Development Framework (ACDF) is a tool to achieving this by supporting colleagues to:

  • Develop a Career Development Plan that is reviewed on a regular basis
  • Receive regular feedback on progress and performance
  • Identify and participate in development activities that will support their career
  • Identify training needs

Strathclyde Chancellor’s Fellowship Scheme

The Strathclyde Chancellor’s Fellowship Scheme is designed to recruit exceptional academic talent to lectureship roles. When appointed under this scheme, it is expected that each Fellow will achieve promotion within five years of appointment.
