Advertise part-time or summer jobs for students
The Careers Service is the central point in the University where all work opportunities for students are advertised. The Service acts as an information exchange for employers, both local and national, who are offering vacancies and students seeking work. Our aim is to assist students in Getting the Right Work Experience.
Our aim is to protect students from unscrupulous employers and illegal wage rates, as well as help them to find their way to the wide range of work opportunities open to them while at University.
The Careers Service operates as an "information exchange" between students and employers. All contracts of employment are between the employer and the student. The Careers Service does not advertise any vacancy which requires a student to work in excess of 20 hours per week during semester.
Should your department have a part-time or temporary job, either during semester or over the summer months, please refer to the following Departments who can assist/advise you with the process from advertising your vacancy to filling the post.
