Staff permits
Annual permits
All staff are entitled to apply for a parking permit. You will need to re-apply each year. Applications for the academic year 2023/24 open on 2 May and close on 2 June.
There are around 430 parking spaces on campus, and we receive approximately 800 applications for parking each year. When we receive more applications than there are spaces, a ballot is run. Unsuccessful applicants are added to the waiting list.
Costs for annual permits for the academic year 2023/24 will be:

Day permits
All staff are now able to book single day permits for the Graham Hills External and Rottenrow and Taylor Street car parks via the University permit portal. The cost of a day permit is £3. Please see our FAQs for further details.
