Annual permits

All staff are entitled to apply for a parking permit. You will need to re-apply each year. Applications for the academic year 2026/27 applications will open on May 4th 2026.

There are around 350 parking spaces on campus for annual permits, and we receive over 500 applications for parking each year. When we receive more applications than there are spaces, a ballot is run. Unsuccessful applicants are added to the waiting list.

Costs for annual permits for the academic year 2026/27 will be: 

Day permits

All staff are now able to book single day permits for the Graham Hills External car park via the University permit portal. The cost of a day permit is £4. Please see our FAQs for further details.
