HR Policies
A full list of HR policies and procedures is kept on the Staff section of the University's website.
Applications are now welcome for the Cycle to Work Scheme.
As part of our commitment to equality and diversity, the University is accredited as a "Disability Confident" employer and operates a guaranteed interview scheme for disabled candidates who meet all the essential criteria for the post that they are applying for. (Please note that "Disability Confident" replaced the Positive about Disabled People ("Two Ticks") scheme during 2016.)
The Equality Act 2010 defines a disability as a physical or mental impairment that has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on a person's ability to undertake normal day-to-day duties.
On the appropriate section of the application form you should indicate if you consider yourself to have a disability and wish to be considered under the scheme. You will then be asked to provide details of any reasonable adjustments which can be put in place to support you to access and participate in an interview. To better support you, please be as clear and specific as you can when providing details of your support needs.
