Peak NDT Limited Joins Advanced Nuclear Research Centre

Peak NDT Limited, a world leading designer and manufacturer of ultrasonic non-destructive testing equipment, has joined forces with the University of Strathclyde as the newest Tier 2 member of the Advanced Nuclear Research Centre (ANRC).

The University of Strathclyde has a track record of supporting the UK and International nuclear industry for over 60 years. Through the ANRC it supports the safe and efficient operation of nuclear facilities through process, risk and technical innovations.

Vibrant research centre

Formed in 2015, the ANRC has grown into a vibrant research centre with strong industry support and collaboration with many academics from both Strathclyde and the wider academic community. The research portfolio of the centre is continually developing and includes expertise in plant lifetime extension, asset management, decommissioning, waste disposal, data analytics, non-destructive testing, material sciences and structural integrity.

Peak NDT is a research and development intensive company which invests heavily in new product development and membership of the ANRC will allow access to, and participation in, world class research that supports the technology and application developments at the forefront of the nuclear industry requirements.
