Prolucid joins Advanced Nuclear Research Centre
Prolucid is a software engineering company specializing in the development and commercialization of custom software applications for inspection, diagnostics, analysis, tooling, and automation. Incorporated in 2008, Prolucid has helped successfully build and deploy a wide variety of nuclear projects including fuel channel inspection and analysis, computer vision and ML/AI integration, tooling automation, and cloud application development among others. Prolucid’s services and capabilities include firmware, desktop, mobile, and cloud development as well as application of best practices for software development in regulated industries.
Advanced Nuclear Research Centre
The University of Strathclyde has a track record of supporting the UK and International nuclear industry for over 60 years. Through the ANRC it supports the safe and efficient operation of nuclear facilities through process, risk and technical innovations. Formed in 2015, the ANRC has grown into a vibrant research centre with strong industry support and involving many academics from both Strathclyde and the wider academic community. The centre has expertise in plant lifetime extension, asset management, decommissioning and waste disposal, data analytics, non-destructive testing, material sciences and structural integrity.
