About IBPSA-Scotland

IBPSA-Scotland comprises a group of over 50 building simulation practitioners from industry and academia. The group seeks to drive forward building simulation and its use in Scotland and internationally - promoting best practice and knowledge exchange between members through regular events; helping to develop the next generation of expert practitioners and setting the landscape for the future development of simulation applications and practice.

IBPSA-Scotland is an affilliate of the International Building Simulation Performance Association (IBPSA) - a non-profit international society of building performance simulation researchers, developers and practitioners, dedicated to improving the built environment.

News and Events

Workshop: IBPSA-Scotland recently hosted a workshop "Thermal Storage and its Role in Flexible Energy Networks" at the University of Strathclyde 30.04.18.

Conference: IBPSA-Scotland will host uSIM 2018 29-30 November at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. The conference focuses on simulation "beyond the building" looking at the challenges and opportunities in applying building simulation and the community and urban scale.
