Impact Acceleration Account

The University of Strathclyde has been awarded over £3 million in funding from UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) to accelerate our research impact, for the benefit of society and the economy.

Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) funding enables our researchers to develop innovative and targeted approaches to societal and industrial challenges by fostering new, and developing existing, local, national and global partnerships.

IAAs also provide opportunities to further develop our researchers’ skills through tailored training initiatives such as our Responsible Research and Innovation programme. Investing in our research community, embedding the principles of knowledge exchange and public engagement at the heart of our work, enables it to achieve its greatest impact in the wider world.
