SCELG Member Kate McKenzie named Managing Editor of Carbon & Climate Law Review (CCLR)

Apr 2021 — The Berlin-based journal Carbon & Climate Law Review (CCLR) has named SCELG member Kate McKenzie as its new Managing Editor.

Published on a quarterly basis under the guidance of a distinguished editorial board, CCLR aims to contribute meaningfully to the discourse on important and emerging topics, including climate change law, climate governance, carbon markets, emissions trading, and regulatory and policy frameworks.

Kate joins SCELG members Michael Mehling (Co-Editor-in-Chief) and Francesco Sindico (editorial board member) as CCLR continues its mission to bring together representatives of the legal discipline and other stakeholders in a specialised journal to engage in a dynamic debate on current developments, political decisions, new literature and, crucially, the law of climate change. In her new role as Managing Editor, Kate will also collaborate with the Institute for Climate Protection, Energy and Mobility (IKEM) to continue to develop CCLR’s collaborations with research institutions and other partners.

Kate’s own research focuses on climate change law and ocean governance with a special focus on due diligence and national climate change litigation.
