Congratulations to two of our collaborative industrial PhD students, Emma Grant and Ross Thomas, who picked up prizes at the 2019 ChemBiOx Symposium held at Worcester College, University of Oxford.

Emma was awarded the Top Oral Presentation Prize for her talk entitiled: PhABits - PhotoAffinity Bits to Study Protein-Ligand Binding.

Ross was awarded the Prize for Best Flash Talk and his presentation was entititled: High-Throughput Synthesis of PhotoAffinity Bits to Study Protein-Ligand Binding.

Both PhD students are supervised by Professor Nick Tomkinson (UoS) and Dr Jacob Bush (GSK).

ChemBiOx 2019 is a student-led, chemical biology and medicinal chemistry conference.
