Strathclyde-GSKRSC Sheelagh Campbell Memorial Award

Congratulations to Alfie Wills, one of our Final Year Collaborative Industrial PhD students, who has been awarded the Sheelagh Campbell Memorial Award.

This Award was presented by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) Electrochemistry Group and the Industrial Physical Chemistry Group, and was based on Alfie's submission of his published research paper entitled: A Mechanistic and Cautionary Case Study on the Use of Alternating Potential in Electrochemical Reactions.

Alfie is based within GSK's Medicines Research Centre in Stevenage, England and is supervised by Professor Billy Kerr (Strathclyde) and Drs Catherine Alder and Darren Poole (GSK).  As part of the award, Alfie will now have the opportunity to present his research at the Electrochem 2021 conference to be held online on 6 and 7 September 2021.
