Best Poster prize at the European Frequency & Time & Forum conference

Congratulations to Samuel Smith for winning one of the Best Poster prizes at the European Frequency & Time Forum conference. Samm's presentation of "Development of an Additively Manufactured Compact Cold-Atom Fountain Clock" was selected by judges as best in the category Microwave Frequency Standards. Samm is a PhD student in the UMQT group in the Dept of Physics at University of Strathclyde and leads the project on developing a compact and scalable clock for long holdover applications.
