Claire is the Director of the Centre for Youth and Criminal Justice (CYCJ). For further information about her interests and experience see http://www.cycj.org.uk/about-us/meet-the-team/claire-lightowler/.

CYCJ supports improvement and learning in youth justice, contributing to a reduction in crime and the realisation of better lives for individuals and communities. For further information about CYCJ see www.cycj.org.uk.

Claire's recent research work has focused on the rights of children in conflict with the law. She is also particularly interested in youth justice policy and practice, co-production and knowledge mobilisation/exchange/impact.
