Personal statement

I joined the University of Strathclyde in 2023 as a Teaching Associate in the Department of Management Science. My teaching focuses on helping students develop the knowledge, confidence, and critical thinking skills needed to address real-world business and engineering management challenges through engaging, inclusive, and evidence-informed learning experiences. Alongside my teaching, I contribute to the University's strategic priorities through curriculum enhancement, student engagement and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives. I am particularly interested in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, with a focus on AI in higher education, technology-enhanced learning, and inclusive curriculum design. I continue to develop these interests through educational research, conference presentations, funded teaching and learning projects, and editorial roles, while maintaining research interests in knowledge management, technology and innovation, supply chain management, and leadership.

This project aims to investigate whether structured conversations based on EDI-related themes can enhance university staff members’ engagement with EDI practices.
