Personal statement

In October 2020, I joined the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS) in the Manufacturing Skills Academy as Project Coordinator of the AMCF funded Online CPD "Digital Manufacturing Leadership" I have a BA Business Studies, a Master of Business Administration and a PRINCE2 Practitioner, and I am currently studying towards the Project Management Professional (PMP) accreditation exam. I am a member of the Association of University Administrators (MAUA). In my role, I am responsible for all of aspects of project management, including planning, monitoring, risk management, budgetary and financial management, reporting, events and outreach/KE activities associated to ensure the smooth running of the project. I have worked in the HE sector for over 28 years in a variety of roles and settings, most recently as Project Manager for European Commission H2020 funded Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative (MSCA) Training Networks: Continuous Resolution and Deracemization of Chiral Compounds by Crystallization (CORE) coordinated within CMAC Future Manufacturing Research Hub, Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy & Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Science Plant-Inspired Materials and Surfaces (PlaMatSu) coordinated within Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry, Faculty of Science The changing nature of employment in Europe in the context of challenges, threats and opportunities for employees and employers (ChangingEmployment) coordinated within the Department of Human Resource Management, Strathclyde Business School.
