Research Associate in Human-AI Interaction at the University of Strathclyde, UK. Ayah is specialising in participatory approaches to AI auditing. She is part of a consortium of seven academic institutions and over 20 partner organisations addressing the challenges of assessing the potential harms of predictive and generative. Her research is focused on AI and Cultural Heritage. Ayah contributes to developing intuitive workbenches and methodologies that guide stakeholders in assessing AI quality and harms. She is also involved in training programs to equip stakeholders with the skills needed for participatory AI audits and supports efforts to establish a certification framework for AI solutions. Ayah is a former Marie Sklodowska-Curie Early Stage Researcher in Domain Specific Systems for Information Extraction & Retrieval (DoSSIER), specialising in Information Retrieval and Human Behaviour. She holds a Master's degree in Data Science and brings six years of industrial experience in Software Quality Assurance Engineering and Data Science.
