Strathclyde Sport's at home blood pressure monitor rental scheme.

Strathclyde Sport has a number of blood pressure monitors which we rent out for free at various times during the year. See below for details on our latest rental dates, and how to register for your monitor.  

To further encourage the university community to take up home testing Strathclyde Sport is offering the free rental of blood pressure monitors over the Christmas period. Home monitoring is an effective way to keep your blood pressure under control and allows you to monitor it yourself in a comfortable environment.

Here are all the details you’ll need if you would like to rent out a monitor:

• To register your interest please email Cat on c.mann@strath.ac.uk.
• Once registered you can pick up your monitor between 12:00-14:00 on the Thursday the 28th of November.
• Pick up point will be the Strathclyde Sport reception.
• Monitors can be taken home for six weeks and must be returned to Strathclyde Sport reception by the 9th of January.
• To rent the equipment you must leave your name and email address.
• All monitors will contain the following: 1xblood pressure monitor, 1xstrap, 1xBlood Pressure UK leaflet, 1xHealthy Heart Booklet, 4xAA batteries. You may keep the leaflet and booklet but please return all other equipment when you drop the monitor off.
