We hold a Spring 5k and Winter 5k every year at Glasgow Green.
These events are open to all students, staff, and members of the university community, with the option to invite family and friends to take part too.
Everyone that takes part will receive a medal and goody bag, with spot prizes also available on the day.

No! As well as members, the event is open to all students and staff at the University of Strathclyde. You just need to sign up in advance.
Absolutely! This event is about participation first — you can run, jog, or walk.
Of course! The route is within the public park, and the best viewing spot is near the start & finish area.
The event will go ahead rain or shine, so please dress accordingly and bring a waterproof layer if needed.
Don’t worry — you won’t be! We have a tail runner whose job is to run at the back to make sure everyone gets round safely and no-one finishes alone. It’s a participation-focused event, not a race against the clock.
