Centre for Lifelong LearningStrathclyde Medals 2021

Alix McDonald, Head of the Centre for Lifelong Learning was awarded a Strathclyde Medal in recognition for her contribution to the University at the annual awards ceremony hosted by Professor Sir Jim McDonald on Thursday 16th September. She was among 14 individuals and 14 teams to be presented. Alix was nominated by a couple of the CLL team and fought off fierce competition from 61 nominations for individual awards.

She said... “It was very touching to have not only been put forward by my colleagues but also to have been selected as one of the awardees given the great work that all the nominees do. I love my role at CLL, no two days are ever the same and I am proud to work for a University which has maintained its solid commitment to lifelong learning since its foundation”.
