Centre for Lifelong Learning
Annual Art Exhibition
The Centre for Lifelong Learning’s annual Art Exhibition is a great opportunity to be part of an event, which showcases the work of students taking creative art classes on our Learn 50+ Programme. It makes no difference whether you are just starting out or have been attending classes for many years. We want exhibitors with a range of experience.
We need students to submit their artwork to allow the exhibition to continue - it is an excellent opportunity to boost student confidence and creates a fantastic visual 'platform' for our budding artists.
We are holding this year’s exhibition at Cass Art in Queen Street, Glasgow, from Saturday 8 July – Monday 17 July 2023. There will be a Private View and drinks reception for exhibitors and their guests on Friday 7 July.
Opening Hours: Monday - Friday - 09:00-18:00 / Saturday - 09:00-19:00 / Sunday - 11:00-18:00
In previous years we attracted over 300 visitors, so please get involved and submit a piece of work.
There is a £10 hanging fee for entry. The fee goes towards the cost of staging the exhibition and you are welcome to place your work for sale if you choose (no commission is taken). For further information and to request an entry form, please contact the Centre:
(telephone: 0141 548 2116 or email: learn-cll@strath.ac.uk).
We look forward to seeing your artwork at the exhibition, which continues to be a highlight in the CLL calendar.
For those who are not artists themselves, please come along and see the inspiring work of our Learn 50+ at CLL Art Students (many items for sale).
