Are you interested in family history and its impact on wellbeing?  

We are looking for participants to join our study at the University of Strathclyde. 

The Department of Psychological Sciences and Health and the Strathclyde Institute for Genealogical Studies, in partnership with YourTour from Historic Productions Ltd, are conducting a study to explore the impact of family history research on wellbeing. 

  

What will I get to do? 
  • Engage in family history activities focused on your family tree guided by our genealogy postgraduate students. 

  • Complete a series of questionnaires at key points during the process.  

  • Participate in a 30-minute Zoom interview with a Psychological Sciences undergraduate student to discuss the impact of these activities on your wellbeing. 

 

Why Participate? 
  • Gain personally meaningful insights into your family history via the 1:1 guided online family history session and written report (free to participants but usually £195).  This promotional video shows you what a YourTour family history session looks like and how the guide interacts with the participants.
