SCOSH Launches Innovative Online Health and Safety Certificate for Aspiring and Professional Safety Workforce
Strathclyde Centre for Occupational Safety and Health (SCOSH) has launched an online Open Studies Certificate in Health, Safety and Risk Management.
The Certificate which starts in February 2025 incorporates three innovative modules developed to introduce participants to the issues facing health, safety, and wellbeing in the workplace.
The course covers a range of topics including risk assessments, reducing workplace accidents, enhancing employee productivity, fostering safer work environments and building a ‘safety first’ culture.
Participants will gain valuable transferable skills, making this course ideal for those involved in health, safety, and wellbeing in their roles or looking to expand their expertise in safety management. The course may also be beneficial for non-safety managers, HR personnel, and operational team leaders.
With no exams (workplace-relevant assessments only), these flexible online modules allow you to learn at your own pace, connect with fellow students, and earn professional CPD hours.
If you earn £25,000 or less, funding may be available to you through the Student Awards Agency Scotland’s (SAAS) Part-time Fee Grant (PTFG).
