Centre for Lifelong Learning
Transferable Skills for Work courses
The Centre for Lifelong Learning are launching three new Upskilling/Microcredential courses in February 2022, fully funded by the Scottish Funding Council. The courses have been designed specifically to support adults living in Scotland who may be looking to re-enter the workforce, are facing redundancy or are considering a career change. Each course focuses on developing transferable skills for work including identifying and adapting skills, confidence building and effective listening skills.
Classes are taught live and online via Zoom at designated times, led by expert tutors and will give students the chance to interact with other like-minded individuals.
Each course is worth 10 credits at SCQF Level 7. Completion of all three courses would result in a 30 credit Open Studies Certificate.
