The University of Strathclyde are now licensed to provide the hugely popular and valuable Managing Safely® course.
This course is designed for managers or supervisors in any sector and any organisation worldwide. The course will provide candidates with the knowledge, skills and practical actions to help manage the health and safety issues they are responsible for. The course covers:
- Assessing risks
- Controlling risks
- Understanding responsibilities
- Understanding hazards
- Investigating incidents
- Measuring performance
At Strathclyde, Managing Safely® is delivered by highly experienced Chartered safety and health practitioners who are able to provide candidates with practical examples.
This course gave me a better understanding of how to manage risk through audits that I carry out. The course was made interesting by interaction between participants with scenarios and situations proposed by Norbert (trainer). Great group and well presented by Norbert.
