The University of Strathclyde are now licensed to provide the hugely popular and valuable Managing Safely® course.
New online format now available starting August 2025.
This course is designed for managers or supervisors in any sector and any organisation worldwide. The course will provide candidates with the knowledge, skills and practical actions to help manage the health and safety issues they are responsible for. The course covers:
- Assessing risks
- Controlling risks
- Understanding responsibilities
- Understanding hazards
- Investigating incidents
- Measuring performance
At Strathclyde, Managing Safely® is delivered by highly experienced Chartered safety and health practitioners who are able to provide candidates with practical examples.
...the trainer had lots of experience and examples to assist in explaining course sections, which is very good. Sometimes trainers are more theory based and lack practical experience. Robert had both.

IOSH Managing Safely® Course dates
NEW ONLINE Managing Safely® via Teams – Tuesday 19th and 26th August, Tuesday 2nd and 9th September 2025. (Tuesdays 09.15 – 16.00).
Course fee – The 4-day course is £395.00.
