Postgraduate taughtYour offer

If we make you an offer, you’ll receive an email asking you to log on to our online application system (PEGASUS) where you’ll be able to view the details of your offer and any attached conditions.

You’ll also be able to download a PDF copy of the offer letter. All correspondence in relation to your application will be available online. We will not post an offer letter to your home address.

There are two different types of offers we can make:

Unconditional offer

If you receive an unconditional offer, you have met all requirements for entry to the course and have secured a place.

Conditional offer

If you receive a conditional offer, you’ll have to meet other requirements before your place is secured. You’ll be able to view these requirements online. Usually, they’re pending qualifications that you are required to achieve at a specified grade.

In the case of applicants whose first language is not English, documentary evidence of your proficiency in English may be a further requirement.

Additional requirements for international students

A condition of your offer will be the payment of a non-refundable tuition fee deposit. We’ll also require you to upload a good-quality copy of your passport.

Deposit conditions

For certain courses, you’ll need to pay a deposit to secure your offer of a place.

If you’re a sponsored applicant you need to provide a letter from your sponsor which:

  • shows how much will be paid for tuition fees and living costs
  • shows how long you’ll be sponsored
  • is on headed paper with the appropriate signature

If you’re a self-funded applicant who is required to pay a deposit you can do this using one of these methods:

Unsuccessful application

If your application has been unsuccessful you’ll receive an email asking you to log on to our online application system (PEGASUS). Here you’ll be able to see the status of your application.

We’re not able to give you individual feedback on why your application was not successful.
