Summary

Strathclyde Business School is delighted to be able to offer a number of Masters Scholarships for September 2024. Candidates must be deemed Scotland/rUK for Course Fee Status and scholarship awards will be £5000 to £7000 dependent on subject area and course fee. 

Our Masters programmes are designed to suit the interests of students looking to explore varied careers within the business world. We offer degrees to suit any background, whether you have previously studied a business subject, or not. They have a strong focus on employability and preparing you for your future career. All candidates who hold a programme offer will be automatically considered for an award, therefore no separate scholarship application is required.

The scholarships will be awarded on merit, rather than financial need, to candidates who demonstrate in their Masters programme application, excellent academic performance (current and/or previously gained); any relevant extra-curricular or professional experience and career development and those who will contribute to the overall academic, cultural and experiential profile of the programme cohort.    

Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis from mid January 2024 onwards and the final deadline for consideration of awards will be 31st July 2024. 

  

Eligibility

Candidates must be self-funded (ie. not in receipt of any funding from any other scholarships, employer sponsorship, etc) and already hold an offer of a place on one of our September 2024 MSc programmes and also be deemed Scotland/rUK with regards to Course Fee Status. 

Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis from mid January 2024 onwards and the final deadline for consideration of awards will be 31st July 2024.

Scholarship awardees will also be expected to engage with a variety of activities during their course of study, including: 

  • Monitoring and contributing to future applicant forums and responding with information regarding the relevant course 
  • Taking an active role in either the social committee or class rep committee 
  • Volunteering as an admissions contact for prospective students 
  • Assisting the school in the development and management of events 
  • Retaining alumni communication post MSc completion 

 

Please note that students are only eligible for one scholarship per academic year from the University of Strathclyde.
