Jacqueline's story

After many years in industry working in an international setting, I made the decision to join the University in 2020 and to lead the team at PNDC.

I am enthused and encouraged by the University values, however appreciate that sometimes there are bumps along the way and not everyone will have the working/studying experience they desire. As a female engineer, I have experienced my fair share of microinequities and even microaggressions in the workplace, and I am committed to helping raise awareness of the impact of these seemingly trivial statements and acts in an effort to create a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone.
