What is the Challenge?

The Exploring Entrepreneurship Challenge is an entry-level programme suitable for Strathclyde students at any stage of study. It is supported by the PDB Foundation.

You can access free online entrepreneurial learning and collaborate with students and mentors to create an idea for a sustainable future. You will develop a pitch and share your idea, boosting your skills and employability.

Who is it for?

Everyone. You don’t need any previous experience, or to have an idea or team in mind before you begin.

What can I expect?

September

Complete a free online toolkit in your own time, learning how to take an entrepreneurial approach to solving problems. The skills and knowledge you gain will set you up for rest of the programme.

October

Celebrate completing the training with a certificate and in-person graduation event. Meet the other participants and sign up for the next stage, in which you will collaborate with students and mentors to generate ideas for a sustainable future.

November

Perfect and submit your pitch. Three teams will be chosen present their idea for the chance to be named one of the finalists and move forward to compete for a prize fund of £2,000.

The final

The final of the competition will take place in March 2024, where the winners will be named at an awards ceremony and dinner.
