Strathclyde InspireBreaking barriers to entrepreneurship seminar series
Our pledge
At Strathclyde Inspire, we believe that talent is everywhere, even if opportunity is not. That’s why, as part of our commitment as a Pathways Pledge partner, we are taking steps to understand and share the barriers faced by underrepresented founders in order to build a more inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem. As part of that commitment, we have created a three-part seminar series.
About the seminar series
These three seminars bring together experts, lived‑experience voices, and practitioners working to remove barriers for underrepresented founders. Each session explores a different dimension of inequality in entrepreneurship.
By sharing these seminars, we aim to:
- increase awareness of the systemic challenges faced by neurodiverse, female and ethnic minority entrepreneurs
- amplify underrepresented voices to enable their experiences to shape future policy and practice
- support Strathclyde’s pledge to educate staff on equality, diversity and inclusion in entrepreneurship.
These seminars are designed for anyone who supports, studies or participates in entrepreneurship — from students and early‑stage founders to investors, mentors, policymakers and ecosystem partners.
