The donation has helped establish the Stephen Young Entrepreneurship Awards, providing funding in the form of prizes, grants and investment to early-stage entrepreneurs, supporting the work of Strathclyde Inspire in transforming lives, supporting the economy and nurturing entrepreneurship. Details of Award

The Charles Huang donation awards £150,000 annually to one, two or three awardees, at the Panel’s discretion judged according to the assessment criteria. The minimum award is £50,000.

The award is designed to support the translation of peer-reviewed research to address real-world problems & challenges.
