My name is Elisabeth, I enjoy being creative and maths and now study mathematics & statistics.
What were your reasons for taking on a postgraduate degree?
I have always wanted to pursue a postgraduate degree since I graduated from my undergraduate degree. I think continuous learning is important.
How did you make the decision to study at Strathclyde?
I was first attracted by the castles and the Harry potter books! I also liked that the University of Strathclyde had the specialised masters programme of Applied Statistics in Finance. Receiving a scholarship also helped me to make my decision.
What do you like about your course and Strathclyde?
The course has good and interesting modules which push me to develop and acquire further knowledge. In addition to this, Strathclyde has many facilities and services available for students, such as the StrathUnion and the Disability and Wellbeing team.
What are your ambitions for the future and how do you think your time at Strathclyde will help you achieve your goals?
My ambitions are big, I can never stop dreaming of achieving my goal of having a stable career.
