Knowledge Transfer Partnerships are partly government-funded long-term collaborations between businesses and universities. DMEM have a long track record of success with the KTP initiative and have helped businesses across the UK to develop and improve.

Are you looking to advance your skillset, progress your career towards that next promotion or develop alongside the latest advancements in industry? We run a number of CPD short courses throughout the year for professionals in the field.
Industrial engagement is a central part of our teaching practice. Every year we involve our fourth and fifth year undergraduates, and our postgraduate taught masters students in industrial projects.
These can be an ideal mechanism for you as a business to gain an appreciation of what the department can do for you, and perhaps whet your appetite for a more focussed involvement. Our students also undertake individual projects that they develop themselves - potentially with companies, and we encourage our students to take summer internships relevant to their degree through our Summer placement scheme.
