ACG at ECCM18 in Athens
ACG members present their work at European Conference on Composite Materials
Six members of the Advanced Composites Group (ACG) – including research leaders, researchers and PhD students – attended the 2018 edition of the European Conference on Composite Materials. Organised by University of Patras, ECCM18 was held in central Athens from 24 – 28th June. Attendees from the ACG presented their work on a wide range of topics including fibre-matrix interface, composite recycling, pseudo-ductility of composites and self-warning hybrid composite patches. The conference offered many academic talks on a wide variety of composite topics, given by researchers from across the globe. Numerous social events such as a welcome reception and the conference dinner allowed ample opportunities to network with other conference delegates and catch up with old friends and colleagues. Next year’s ICCM conference takes place in Gold Coast, Australia followed by ECCM19 in 2020 in Nantes, France.
