The Faculty of Engineering, in partnership with the Weir Group, are delighted to offer the Young WEIR-WISE: Discovering Engineering with S2 Girls programme.

Open to all S2 girls in Scotland, there are 300 places available on the programme which runs in January each year and there are online and in-person offerings for pupils to choose from.

The in-person offering sees pupils attend the University for two days in January to participate in practical, group activities. We run this twice, with 100 pupils attending each two-day session.

A further 100 places are available on the online programme which also runs in January for one day and sees pupils join information sessions and take part in online activities remotely over the course of the day.

During both offerings, participants will hear from staff at the University and colleagues from the Weir Group who will provide insight into studying and working in the field of engineering.
