Vertically Integrated Projects Success for University of Strathclyde at Georgia Tech

Scott Strachan (EEE) and Robert Collins (Education) recently presented at this year’s Annual Vertically Integrated Projects International Consortium Conference at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. At the event the University of Strathclyde was recognised by the pedagogy’s originator, Prof. Ed Coyle (pictured centre) as a key exemplar in the successful development of VIP across Engineering, Entrepreneurship, Education and Life Sciences.  Commendation was given to Strathclyde’s unique and innovative approach in restructuring their VIP strategy to help projects meet the challenges of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals.  Particular recognition was also given to the work of the School of Education, and its ‘world’s first’ in operating VIP within Primary Education. As a result of their expertise and strong commitment to VIP over the past five years Strathclyde has been identified as the key European hub institution for the development of VIP outside of the U.S.
