Strathclyde at the Scottish Legal Awards

It was a successful night for Strathclyde Law School at the Scottish Legal Awards, which were presented on Thursday 22 September 2022.

As reported in our news item earlier in the week, Professor Alan Miller was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award, sponsored by The Times. You can read a more about the award and Professor Miller’s career in this feature for the University of Strathclyde News.

Another Strathclyde success related to our Mediation Clinic, who were “Highly Commended” for the Community Contribution Award, sponsored by Frasia Wright Associates.

Finally, we are always pleased to hear about our former students doing well, and as such we were delighted that our alumna Laura Connor of Thompsons was awarded the Lawyer of the Year Award, sponsored by the Law Society of Scotland. Many congratulations to her and indeed to all of the other winners.

Full details of the awards can be found at the Scottish Legal Awards website.
