Programme

We are proud to organise a varied programme that includes a range of presentation formats and opportunities to connect in-person and online.

Academic programme

The academic programme includes 4 keynote speakers: one keynote during the pre-symposium on Thursday and one keynote each morning throughout the symposium itself. There will be 7.5 hours of parallel sessions, including short papers, workshops, discussions, lightning talks and poster presentation (see Call for Papers and Workshop Proposals).

In terms of creative participation, APCCA will host an in-person Mandala room, and PCT Scotland will facilitate online and in-person encounter groups.

Draft programme for parallel sessions on Friday and Saturday

An asterisk (*) indicates that the presenter has co-presenters.

Please note that this is the draft programme. While we endeavour to keep changes to a minimum, it is possible that there will still be some amendments.

All keynote speeches and other plenary sessions will be hybrid. During parallel sessions, some options will be available hybrid, while others (in particular, workshops, encounter group, Mandala room) will be offered either in-person or online. We are committed to offering an academic programme of equal value to online and in-person delegates.

All delegates (in-person and online) will have access to the programme, abstracts and other essential information using the Eventsair app. There is also a facility to connect with each other.

Using this app not only saves paper but also allows us to make sure that the programme can be easily updated throughout the symposium.

Social programme

The social programme includes welcome drinks (Thursday) and a civic reception at the Glasgow City Chambers (Friday). The opportunity to join together for karaoke (Thursday) and dinner and a traditional ceilidh at the National Piping Centre (Saturday) s offered for a small additional cost.
