Fàilte [ˈfaːltʲə] Welcome [ˈwɛlkəm]
The ICPLA2020/21 organising committee are pleased to invite you to the 18th biennial conference of the International Clinical Phonetics and Linguistics Association. The conference will take place from 23rd to 25th of June 2021. We are delighted to host the conference remotely from the University of Strathclyde, home to one of the oldest Speech and Language Therapy courses in the UK.
Previously accepted abstracts will be included in the programme, however, due to the long postponement we will reopen the abstract submission portal for both editing of abstracts and submission of new abstracts. The conference aims to foster lively and stimulating discussion around the application of linguistics and phonetics to disordered speech and language with the goal of enhancing linguistic and phonetic theory and developing approaches to the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of communication disorders.
We look forward to welcoming you to virtual Glasgow, the World’s friendliest city.
